The brand began with a frustration. Almost everything marketed as minimal had been flattened into the same pale, cold look, and almost everything marketed as characterful had been overdesigned. We wanted the middle: the calm of a restrained room with the warmth of an Andalusian courtyard or a Tuscan farmhouse. So we started sourcing selectively, testing materials, refining finishes, and keeping only the pieces that still felt right after living with them.
What guides us has not changed. Choose materials that age well rather than materials that photograph well. Keep the detailing quiet so the room, not the object, is the point. Price honestly, pack carefully, and answer quickly when something goes wrong.
